Second quarter is off to a great start! The students have further developed their cooking skills by making chicken noodle soup with braided ham and cheese biscuits, served with white hot chocolate. This week the kids made a delicious shepherd's pie.

Our nature study has continued into fall and the students are learning how to identify trees without relying on leaves. We have taken a close look at the world of mushrooms and learned how moss survives without roots. All of our students have been working on skip counting and applying it to multiplication. Arrays, mazes, and card games have been fun ways that we reinforce these important concepts.

The students are reading and writing each week and are working hard on their Genius Hour projects. While some of them have chosen long term projects that may continue throughout the year, other students are on their second topic and hope to finish by the end of this quarter.

As a reminder, Revolutionary Learning will be on break during the week of Thanksgiving. Class will resume on Thursday, December 3rd and continue through the week before Christmas. The last day of third quarter is Wednesday, December 20th.
